Dr. Piotr Dumicz, Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon
Piotr Dumicz, MD, is a graduate of the State University of New York, in Stony Brook, New York, where he earned his Medical Degree and completed his General Surgery Residency. His Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency was completed at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Dumicz has board certifications in both Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery and General Surgery. He is also a member of the American College of Surgeons. Furthermore, he was a recipient of the David J. Kreis, Jr., MD Award for Excellence in Trauma, awarded to him by the Department of Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Dr. Michael Edward Halligan, Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgeon
Michael Halligan, MD, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he earned his Medical Degree. Dr. Halligan completed both his General Surgery Internship and General Surgery Residency at the New Jersey Medical School, in Newark, New Jersey. His Thoracic Surgery Residency was completed at the Brook Army Medical Center, in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Dr. Halligan holds board certifications in Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and General Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Victor Kim, Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgeon
Victor Kim, MD, is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine, in Richmond VA, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Surgery Internship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, in Lebanon NH, and his Surgery Residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant Medical Center), in Greenville, NC. His Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship was completed at the Yale New Haven Hospital, in New Haven, CT. Dr. Kim holds board certifications in Surgery, Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery, and Endovascular Surgery. He is also a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He served as the Chief Resident of General Surgery at East Carolina University during 2002-2003, as well as the Administrative Chief Resident of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine during 2004-2005. His clinical areas of interest include complex coronary revascularization, aortic surgery, VATs minimally invasive thoracic surgery, in addition to endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic aneurysms, Type B dissections, and open treatment of PAD.
In his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys surf fishing, boating, skiing, sports, and taking family vacations.
