Our committed staff of otolaryngologists are specially trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. Our ENT doctors are dedicated in your treatment and ensuring the best outcome for each patient. Below you will find a detailed description for each of our highly trained ENT doctors.

 

Dr. Arrowood

Dr. John P. Arrowood, Jr., Otolaryngologist

John Arrowood, Jr, MD, . is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he earned his Medical Degree. He is also a graduate of Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He completed his General Surgery Internship at the NC Baptist Hospital, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and his Otolaryngology Residency at the University Hospital and Clinics, in Jackson, Mississippi. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the North Carolina Medical Society.

Dr. Grady

Dr. Richard D. Grady, Otolaryngologist

Richard Grady, MD, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, NC, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed both his Family Practice Internship and General Surgery Residency from Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant Medical Center), in Greenville, NC. His Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Residency was completed at West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Grady holds board certifications in Otolaryngology and Otolaryngic Allergy. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. His clinical areas of interest include adult and pediatric general otolaryngology, otolaryngic allergy, and rhinology including endoscopic sinus surgery, nasal surgery, and balloon sinuplasty.

In his free time, Dr. Grady likes to travel, garden, go boating or fishing, and attend Shakespeare performances whenever possible.

Dr. Grant

Dr. Thomas R. Grant, Otolaryngologist

Thomas R. Grant, MD, FACS, is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University, in Bethesda, MD where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his General Surgery Internship, as well as his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the Naval Medical Center, in Portsmouth, VA. He served 14 years in The United States Navy prior to entering private practice. He is board certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Grant is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He enjoys both fly-fishing and saltwater fishing in his free time.

Dr. Loveless

Dr. Howard W. Loveless, Otolaryngologist

Howard Loveless, MD, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Flexible Internship and his Surgery Residency at the Methodist Hospitals of Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Fellowship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is board certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. Loveless is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is a past recipient of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery Foundation CME Achievement Award, and the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Dr. Loveless enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Dr. McNabb

Dr. Gregory S. McNabb, Otolaryngologist

Gregory S. McNabb, MD, is a graduate of the Uniformed Services University, in Bethesda, MD, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at the National Naval Medical Center, in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Residency at the Naval Medical Center, in Portsmouth, VA. He is board certified in Otolaryngology. Dr. McNabb is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He has been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. McNabb was also named the recipient of the Resident of the Year Award, as well as the Otolaryngology Internal Medicine Intern of the Year. His clinical interest is Comprehensive Otolaryngology, and in his free time he enjoys boating, fishing, and hunting.

Elizabeth Bell

Elizabeth Bell, FNP

Elizabeth Virginia Bell, FNP, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina's Nurse Practitioner Program in Wilmington, NC. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology.

In her free time, Mrs. Bell enjoys snowboarding, dirt biking, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
