Dr. Robert O. Holmes, Jr., Rheumatologist
Robert O. Holmes, Jr., MD, is a graduate of the Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where he earned his Medical Degree. He completed his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center, in Portsmouth, VA. Dr. Holmes completed his Rheumatology Fellowship at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Holmes is a recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal. His clinical areas of interest include Biological Arthritis Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Osteopathic Manipulation, Fitness, Nutrition, Wellness, Tai Chi and Yoga.

Dr. Garland R. Moeller, Rheumatologist
Garland R. Moeller, MD, is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine, in Durham, NC, where he received his Medical Degree. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, as well as his Rheumatology Fellowship at the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Moeller was the Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine. Additionally, he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Moeller is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and was a board member for the NC Rheumatology Association and the Medical Alumni Council at Duke University. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Princeton University and Alpha Omega Alpha at Duke University. Dr. Moeller was awarded the 1976 'Best Doctors' Designation and the 2003-2015 'Best Doctors' in America Designation.
In his free time, Dr. Moeller enjoys aviation and has his Commercial Pilot Certification. He is also an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church in New Bern.
